Our client is one of the global leaders in the provision of software applications to customers in the telecom operator sector.  They are also the leading provider of VAS and Telecom Billing Applications and have an established clientele base in Indonesia.  Due to business growth, they are headhunting for a Project Manager to join their team.


Project Manager (Telecom Sector, Value-Added Systems)     Post Date: 26 Mar 09

Job Scope:

Responsible for Project Management of high value software applications in the Value-Added segment to customer in the telecom operator space.

 

Job Responsibilities:

    *
      Handle key aspects of the project to ensure that it is completed within budget and scheduled timeframe
    *
      Key contact person with the customer and engineering teams within the company
    *
      Handle issues that arise and ensure their proper resolution
    *
      Responsible for documentation and also to ensure that project milestones are met
    *
      Ensure that client has high level of satisfaction with regards to the progress of the project
    *
      Keep company informed on any further opportunities within the organization
    *
      Guide the customer towards the company's solutions and other products

Job Requirements:

    *
      Degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology or equivalent
    *
      At least 10 years working experience, minimum 5 years in the relevant telecom sector
    *
      Candidates that have experience with handling VAS solutions at an advantage
    *
      PMI certified candidates preferred
    *
      Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
    *
      Good technical background
