JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – MANUFACTURING

SIDOARJO

PT. Pulau Batu is the major supplier to Island Stone International
Limited (www.islandstone.com), a global company that possesses an
extensive premium natural stone tile product range which it sells
through an exclusive worldwide distribution network.

PT. Pulau Batu was established on the invention of the pebble tile and
has for more than 10 years been producing high-quality and innovative
floor and wall coverings through its manufacturing operations in East
Java and Bali. The company is currently undergoing a process of
significant expansion of its facilities in Sidoarjo, where we employ
approximately 80 people.

We are seeking a self-motivated team player who is based in or near
Sidoarjo, for the Junior Accountant position, to:

*
Book all journal voucher entries;
*
Prepare VAT and Withholding tax returns;
*
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements;
*
Maintain the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets
and General Ledger System;
*
Update and safe custody of petty cash;
*
Preparing Cash flow reports;

Requirements:

*
Male / Female.
*
S1 graduated in accounting from reputable University, min GPA 3.00.
*
Computer literate (MS Office).
*
Good knowledge of Tax (SPT), General accounting and Costing.
*
Having Brevet A & B in Tax is an advantage
*
Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply although recent
experience in a similar position would be highly regarded.
*
Has knowledge of Indonesian laws and regulations including
Indonesian accounting standards and local tax legislations etc.
*
Demonstrates initiative, is enthusiastic, meticulous and accurate.
*
Strong work ethic, resourceful, must be detail-oriented,
demonstrates high integrity, good interpersonal skills.
*
Able to work under pressure, independently and meet deadlines.
*
Good command of English is an advantage.
